Wendy Suzanne Bounds, 49, of Onalaska, Texas passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Visitation will be held at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Lake Houston church of Christ, 8003 Farmingham Road, Humble, Texas 77346 on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial services will be held at Earthman Memory Gardens cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521 on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
Wendy was born October 4, 1971 in Baytown, Texas. She was a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and earned her Associate degree at Lee College in Baytown. Wendy was a faithful servant of God and attended the church of Christ all throughout her life. She was also an active member of the Pilot Club of Highlands, Texas and Board member of the Houston Gulf Coast chapter of the Spina Bifida Association.
Wendy had a beautiful, caring spirit. She was known by everyone for her bright, shining smile and always looked for goodness in everyone that she met. No matter what Wendy was faced with in life, she never let adversity slow her down or stand in her way. Wendy was an avid fan of the Bee Gees and American Idol and traveled the country with her friends and family to attend various music venues.
Wendy is survived by her parents, Bob and Debbie Bounds, of Onalaska; brother, Ronnie Bounds of Austin; uncles, Bill Bounds of Highlands, John Allen Bounds of Baytown, James Pagel of Hardin, Phillip Pagel of Mont Belvieu, and John Harvey of Trinity; and one aunt, Jan Pagel of Mont Belvieu; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Wendy's cousins: Carl Bounds, Chris Pagel, Jason Pagel, Jeremy Pagel, Kelvin Pagel, Phillip Pagel, Jr., Robert Pagel, and Shannon Harvey.
