Walter William Hopson born January 12, 1940, in Cleveland Texas to Stella Madonia Griffith and Roy Lee Hopson passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 81. He is survived by his children William Darrell Hopson, David Dwayne Hopson, and Catherine Marie Hopson; brothers, Carl Hopson, Kenneth H. Hopson, sister, Velma L Kendrick; sister-in-law Ruby E. Hopson, as well as numerous other loved ones and a host of friends. Walter is a Veteran of the United States Army, a dedicated, hardworking, inspirational, who loved his family. He preceded by his wife Cora Lee Hopson of 52 beautiful years, Parents Roy Lee Hopson and Stella Madonia Hopson, siblings, Milton Hopson, Marion Hopson, Edward Hopson, Herlon Hopson, Richard Hopson, Robert Hopson, Emma Beasley. Viewing will be held at 5-8pm Friday, October 1, 2021, Pace Funeral Home A Celebration of Walter's Life will be held 10am Saturday, October 2, 2021, Pace Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Holly Grove cemetery. VFW Post 8568 giving military honors.
