Charles Lee Head was born on January 28, 1938, in Hamilton County, Texas, to Charles Aubrey Head and Ura Lee Head. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 30, 2026, Trinty, Texas at the age of 88.

Charles was a man of faith, he was a devoted and longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church in Huntsville, where he nurtured his relationship with the Lord and his church community.

Charles loved the outdoors and found great joy in camping, proudly participating as a member of the FMCA Camping Club with his beloved wife Dolores. He spent 30 years serving the community of the city of Houston as Houston Police officer.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kristie Crespo & son-in-law, John Crespo Sr.; grandchildren, Jennifer Fernandez, Miranda Box and Jason Box; great-grandchildren, Mason Brooks, Kaden Barnfield, Carter Moore, Chloe Pickens, Whitney Pickens, and Callie Wizner; great-great-grandson, Felix Brooks; brother-in-law, Bert Schulze, as well as many other family members and a host of friends.

Charles joins in Heaven his parents; beloved wife Dolores Head; son, Mark Wayne Head; brother, Prentiss Dale Head; brother-in-law, Franklin Shulze; sisters-in-law, Shirley Diane Head, Norma Schulze and Vera Schulze; granddaughter, Rachel Diane Rea; and nephews, Eric Head and Jimmy Dale Head; niece, Sherry Head.

A visitation will be from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.

A Celebration of life will be held at 9:00am, Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, with Brother, Mike Loftin officiation.

Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, in Houston, Texas.
