I served in the armed forces.
Eugene Madison Insall Sr. was born on July 29, 1938, in Gilmer, Texas, to Carrol Smith and Essie Marie Insall. He passed from this life on December 12, 2025, in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 87.

Eugene was a dedicated family man who treasured the simple things in life and the time he spent with those he loved. He was a faithful member of Blanchard Baptist Church, where he served his Lord and Savior with his service in music ministry.

Eugene is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bessie Insall; children, Eugene Madison Insall Jr. & wife Rose Marie, Robert Wholeship Insall, Dawn Annette Insall, and Cara DeLette Mersiovky & husband Robert; sisters, Peggy Engleheart, and Helen Helm; grandchildren, James Tedeschi, Antonette Harlow, Thomas Insall, Cassandra Thomas, Danielle Tsui, Jaclyn Mersiovsky, Mikaela Flora, and Samuel Insall, as well as twenty- two great- grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Winnie Pearl Insall.

A visitation for Eugene will be held from 3:00-5:00, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.

A Celebration of Eugene's Life will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Blanchard Baptist Church, in Livingston, Texas, with pastor Fred Alford officiating.

Interment is to follow at Restland Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas.
