Johnny Bryant Higdon was born August 28, 1946, in San Antonio, to Everett Carl Higdon and Estelle Vaughn. He passed from this life on September 16, 2023, in Kingwood, Texas, at the age of 77.
Johnny is survived by his children, Jeffrey Higdon & wife Mary, Jody Higdon & wife Bernadette, and Jana Cain & husband Aaron; brother, Will J Higdon; sister, Jessie Coker Gerjes; 17 grandchildren, Ryan, Michelle, Raquel, Kristine, Kimberly, Priscilla, Brittany, Chassity, Camille, Liam, Caitlyn, Braxton, Aarilyn, Meredith, Ryleigh, Harper and Hunter; 12 great grandchildren, as well as many other family, friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janie Higdon; brothers, Everett Carl Jr, Elvin, and James; sisters, Joyce, Betty, Mary, and Patricia.
A Visitation for Johnny will be held from 5:00p- 8:00p, Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.
A Celebration of Johnny's Life will be held at 10:00a, Monday, September 25, 2023, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, with Pastor Kelly Havard officiating.
Interment will follow at 2pm Rosewood Cemetery, in Humble, Texas.
