He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his brother James Brown.
Daniel is survived by his wife Lisa Simons; daughters, Alexandra Willis, Elizabeth Simons, Scarlett Simons; stepsons, Hayden Tillery, Jacob Tillery and Arden Tillery; his mother, Faye Higgins; his brother, Robert "Cody" Simons & his wife Tammy Simons; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and friends.
