Winnie graduated from Livingston High School in 1959. She worked as a homemaker, clerk at United Gas, and as a substitute teacher at Big Sandy. She loved playing bunco with the Big Sandy ladies and Center Grove group and attended Sunflower Baptist Church.
Winnie was preceded in death by her husbands Rex Nolan Hendrix and Floyd Arnold Treadway, her siblings Kitchell Ray Murphy, James Genee Murphy, Vonuard Alton Murphy, and Bobbie Ruth Murphy Martin.
She is survived by her son, Floyd ''Bo'' Treadway & Tracy Mason; daughter, Mildred Smith & Robert, brother in law, Edwin Hendrix & Betty; grandchildren, Jere Warren & Natisha, Andy Treadway & Dylaney, Allen Treadway, Gared Vannoy, Mendy Fears & Jeffery, Wesley Smith & Amanda, Spencer Smith & Serena; numerous great- grandchildren, as well as many other loved ones and a host of friends.
A Visitation will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Big Sandy High School, 9180 FM 1276 in Livingston, Texas with a Celebration of Life to begin at 2:00pm, with Brother Mitchell Murphy officiating.
Interment will follow at Midway Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas.
