Kayleigh Adair McLaren, 34, of Livingston, Texas, a deeply loved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away suddenly on February 11, 2026, in The Woodlands, Texas. Kayleigh was born on October 7, 1991, in Webster, Texas. She began her life in Texas City with her parents, James David ''JD'' McLaren and Rhonda (McLaren) Dahse, and later moved with her family to Livingston, where she lived for more than 25 years. She was a graduate of Livingston High School, Class of 2010.
Kayleigh was preceded in death by her father, James McLaren, and her stepfather, Mike Dahse.
With profound loss, her family reflects on Kayleigh's kind and generous heart. She was the embodiment of selflessness and compassion, living with a true volunteer spirit and a fierce love and devotion to her family and friends. Kayleigh approached each day thinking more about how she could bring joy to others than about herself. This was evident through her extensive volunteer work, including construction projects that often aided those affected by natural disasters, as well as her preaching work as a Regular Pioneer.
If asked, Kayleigh would say that her family and her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses were the most important foundations of her life. She loved sharing her hope of the real life to come. She cherished time spent with her lively extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear family friends. She loved hosting and attending gatherings, cheering on her beloved UT Longhorns and Houston Texans, and enjoying her favorite country music. Kayleigh found serenity in scuba diving and cooking
Kayleigh is deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by her mother, Rhonda Dahse; her brother, Zachary McLaren, and wife Megan; her sister, Lindsey McLaren; her grandfather, Thomas Alford, and wife Gale; her aunts Mindy Ploss and husband Ansel, Elisha Brown and husband Matt, Katie Charo and husband James, and Cindy Alford. She is also survived by her cousins: Ashley Ensign and husband Colt and their children Grace and Roark; Erica Nicholson and husband Jesse and their children Jack, Scarlett, Jett, and Barrett; Heather Hernandez and husband Fernando and their children Ari and Lukas; Garrett Ybarra and wife Victoria; Taylor Ezelle and husband Austin; Benjamin Brown and wife Natalie; and Aunt Cindy and Hannah and Aidan Alford.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Livingston at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 160 Pinckard Road.

Livingston, TX Saturday, February 14, 2026 She truly had the sweetest heart and soul and served others so selfishly. I had the privilege of working with her at the office, and she brought such positive energy and a helping hand to everyone around her. Her kindness never went unnoticed. You will be deeply missed, sweet girl. Prayers listed to family and friends.Cindy Adkins
