I served in the armed forces.
Charles Harris Stewart, 92, was called home by his Lord and Savior on April 15, 2025. He was born on October 14, 1932, to Manuel and Rillie Stewart, in Hugo, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country, in the United States Army. He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Crosby, Texas where he served on their security team.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Shirley Stewart; Children, Charles Stewart and wife Evelyn, Cindy Stewart, Craig Stewart and wife Kathy, Michael Kule and wife Danelle, and Roxanne Jalonen and husband Joe; grandchildren, Charles W. Stewart, Christie Wood and husband Kenneth, Carah Lambert and husband David, Cara Sullivan and husband Todd, Kaitlin Wade and husband Craig, Wesley Schonemann, Dalton Massingill, Kimber Massingill, and their father Derryl Massingill;17 great-grandchildren, many other loved ones and Friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, former wife of 41 years, Carolyn "PeeWee" Stewart; brother, Billie Edward Stewart, sisters, Tommie Lee Summers and Imogene Hairston.

Pallbearers: Charles W. Stewart, Kenneth Wood, David Lambert, Todd Sullivan, Craig Wade, and Dalton Massingill.

Honorary Pallbearers: Wesley Schonemann, John Gee, The CBC Security Team: Shelby Howell, Ellis Tipton, Jeff May, Van Siler, and Steve Lindly.

The family would also like to extend special thanks to Geno Salias, Van Siler, Cliff Jackson and Shelby Howell.

A Visitation for Charles will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10:00am- 11:00am, with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, with Pastor Mike Thrash and Shelby Howell officiating.

Military Honors will be presented by VFW Post 8568.

Interment is to follow at Camp Ruby Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas.
