Bertha B. Hickman (My Berthy) was born on August 19, 1923, in Abilene, Texas to William Walter and Willie Mae (Pylant) Blankinship. She peacefully passed away on March 15, 2025, at her home in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 101 years old


Bertha lived a very full and joyous life. She will be deeply missed for her kind heart and free spirit.
She is reuniting in Heaven with her parents, and loving Husband W. A. Hickman.

Bertha is survived by her nieces and nephews, Gloria Sanford, Kevin Sanford, John Lee, Tonya Willson, Jessica Gaines, Connor Sanford- Archibald, Christopher Cherry, Teresa Schuelke, Andrew Hays, Mary Evelyn Baker, Billie Dale, and many other loving family members and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Sanford, John Lee, Christopher Cherry, Andrew Hays, Buddy Smith, and Landon Smith.

A graveside service for Bertha will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday March 22, 2025, at Center Grove Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas.
