With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alton Lee Nichols, who left this world on February 20, 2025, at the age of 52. He was born on May 24, 1972, in Houston, Texas to Mona and Artherton Nichols.

Alton was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Daphney Nichols, and a proud father to his daughters, Celeste Diane Nichols and Kyra May Nichols. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was on the road as a truck driver or at home sharing stories and laughter. Alton was a simple man who enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Alton?s heart was as vast as the open highways he traveled, and his infectious laughter and kindness brightened the lives of everyone he met.

Alton is survived by his loving wife, Daphney Nichols; daughters, Celeste Diane Nichols, and Kyra May Nichols; brother, Shane Kimball Wallace; as well as many other loved ones and a host of dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Artherton Lyle Nichols and Mona May Nichols, and sister, Londa Nichols.

Alton Lee Nichols, a true friend and family man who will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Though Alton has left us too soon, his spirit and love will continue to shine through the lives he touched. We will hold onto the memories of his warm smile, loving heart, and the joyous moments we shared.

A Celebration of Alton?s Life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. We invite all family, friends, and loved ones to join us in sharing memories, stories, and the laughter Alton brought into our lives. Pastor Gary Lawrence will lead the service, providing comfort and reflection as we honor a man who meant so much to so many.
