He is survived by his loving wife, Tomy Geane Shotwell; stepchildren, Tina Denton, Melissa Waldrep, Kenneth Waldrep & wife Cheryl; sisters, Shirley Nicholson and Elizabeth Shires & husband James; seven grandchildren, six great- grandchildren; as well as many other loved ones and friends.
Burl is preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.W. Shotwell; and sister, Winnie Saxton.
A Celebration of Burl's Life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, with Pastor Bobby Conner officiating.
