Walter Vernon Muirhead was born August 6, 1947, in Henderson, Texas to William and Jeanette Muirhead. He passed away from this life on February 5, 2025, in Livingston, Texas at the age of 77.

He is survived by his children, Jennie Wahid, Christopher Muirhead & wife Heather, Crystal McCumber & husband Kyle White, and Andy Muirhead; sister, Linda Beckworth & husband James; brother, Dude H. Muirhead; the mother of his children, Brenda Muirhead; grandchildren, Wyatt McCumber, Mason Muirhead, Autumn Muirhead, Danielle Hart, Michael Lynn Muirhead, Sarah Peters, William Peters Jr., Morgan Muirhead, Destiny Muirhead, Michael C. McCumber, James Muirhead, Jonathan Muirhead, and Katlynn Muirhead; great grandchildren, Noah McCumber, Kailyn Hart, Kaseton Hart and Clare Peters; as well as many other loved one and a host of friends.

Walter is preceded in death by his loving wife Margie Muirhead; parents, William and Jeanette Muirhead; brothers, Joe E. Muirhead, Benny F. Muirhead, William J. Muirhead, and Winston F. Muirhead.

A Visitation for Walter will be held from 5:00p- 9:00p, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.

A Celebration of Walter's Life will be held at 2:00p, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Pace Funeral Home, with Brother, Chris Knox officiating.

Interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, in Onalaska, Texas.
