Marie spent many years serving her community at First State Bank in Livingston, where her dedication to her work and customers made her a beloved figure. When not at the bank, Marie found happiness in tending to her garden, preserving its harvest through canning, and crafting intricate quilts. Cooking Sunday dinners for her family was a cherished tradition that brought everyone together, creating lasting memories. While Marie will be deeply missed, her legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Janice Marie Farrar & husband Billy, and Julie Young & husband Billy; siblings, Maggie Bankston, Mary Marsh, David Hensley, Larry Hensley, Tom Hensley, Gay Ann Buller, Cynthia Lowery, and Lisa Green; grandchildren, Shawna Kurth & husband Dennis, Amy Hoover & husband Travis, G. W. Farrar & wife Ginger and Tanner Young; great- grandchildren, Brody Hoover, Chase Hoover, Gracie Hoover, Addie Lou Hoover, Manton Farrar, Morgan Farrar, Abigail Kurth, and Matthew Kurth; as well as many other loved ones and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, George Marsh; brothers J. A. Hensley and Bubba Hensley.
A visitation for Marie will be held from 10:00 am, Monday November 25, 2024, with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00a, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas, Brother Chris Knox officiating.
Interment is to follow at Holhausen Darby Cemetery, in Moscow, Texas.
