Jackie Duane Willis was born on January 8, 1959, in Beaumont, Texas and later adopted to Paul and Mollie Willis at the age of 4. He passed from this life on October 22, 2023, in Highlands, Texas at the age of 64.
Jackie found joy in the simpler things in life like the outdoors and spending time outside when he was able. He loved his family, and his greatest joy was being a Pawpaw to his grandbabies.
He is survived by his father, Paul Willis and wife Sharon; mother, Mollie Willis; wife of 22 years, Suzan Willis; children, Blane Willis and Lindsi Willis; step- daughter, Hannah Wright; brothers, Greg Willis & wife Dana; Tim Mizell & wife Angie; sisters, Verdina Murphy & husband Mitchell, Susan Bryan & husband Marc and Ashleigh Wilks; grandchildren, Caden Willis and Gracelyn Wright; brothers- in- law, Lynn Lovett & wife Linda and David Lovett; special loved ones, Ginger Teer, Donald and Kerri Cline, Nate Kline, and Glenn Nettles; numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Jackie is preceded in death by his paternal, and maternal grandparents, and sister, Debbie Oats.
Suzan would like to give a special thank you to Hospice Plus for all the help, love and care they gave her and Jackie during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Jackie's life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday October 28, 2023, at Dayton First Assembly of God Church, at 2829 FM 1960, Dayton, Texas 77535, with Pastors Rich Cope and Mitchell Murphy Officiating.
