James Robert Olds 71, of Livingston, Texas passed away August 31, 2023, in Livingston, Texas. He was born January 4, 1952, in Houston, Texas to Charles and Betty (Falknor) Olds.
He was a veteran having served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division.
James is survived by his wife, Sandra Olds of Livingston, Texas; mother, Betty Olds of Roans Prairie, Texas; daughter, Kathrin Olds of Killeen, Texas; sons, William Olds of Corrigan, Texas, Oscar Couch and wife Robin of Livingston, Texas, Thomas Couch of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Rick Olds of Nacogdoches, Texas, Charles Olds of Nacogdoches, Texas, Stephen Olds of Houston, Texas; sisters, Carolyn Wallace of Roans Prairie, Texas, Patricia Hipps of North Carolina; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren as well as numerous other family members and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Charles and grandson Elijah Couch.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 2pm at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Appleby, Texas with Brother Steve Waldrep officiating.
