Wilma Joyce Neal Hughes was born March 17, 1941, in Austin, Texas to Robert J. Neal Sr and Mary Sanders She passed from this life on March 24, 2023, in Kingwood, Texas, at the age of 82.
Joyce is survived by her children, Concetta McMahan & husband Tommy, Leon H. Hughes Jr & wife Pamela, Joy Newberry & husband Ray, Trudy Gresham & husband Michael, Bobby Hughes & wife Morgen, Sharon Hughes; sister, Silvia Lunt; Numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren; Many other loved ones, relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. Neal Sr, and Mary Sanders; beloved husband of 39 years, Leon Hollis Hughes Sr; sisters, Janice Morgan, Sherry Cleveland; brothers, Robert J. Neal Jr, and Johnny Majors.
A Visitation for Joyce will be held from 5:00pm 8:00pm, Monday, Monday 27, 2023, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.
A Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held, 12:00pm, Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Pace Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Hughes Cemetery in Bon Wier, Texas with Brother Chris Knox officiating.

    Granny. We all thought you were invincible, that you’d hit the Guinness book of records as oldest person alive. You always gave the best laughs, made the greatest food. You were a powerhouse!
