April Michele Marcontell was born April 18, 1975, in Liberty, Texas to Curtis and Elizabeth Marcontell. She went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2023, at her home in Silsbee, Texas.
April was a Loving mother and grandmother. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as grandmother. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. April was a light when she walked into a room, and she will be missed dearly.
April is survived by her father, Curtis H. Marcontell of Thicket, Texas; children, Karly Marcontell & fiancé Christian Steck of Tyler, Texas, and Christopher Matthew Marcontell & significant other Zoe Montgomery of Highlands, Texas; sisters, Tracy McGallion & husband Adam of Buna, Texas, Regina Maze & husband Denton of Livingston, Texas, Theresa Love & husband Bobby Joe of Thicket, Texas, and Mandie Musick & husband Quintin of Cleveland, Virginia; brother, Curtis Marcontell of Marion, North Carolina; grandchildren, Leighton, Aurora both of Tyler, Texas and a Special blessing coming in summer of 2023; aunts Rozelle Wells of Thicket, Texas and Ester Wilson of Nederland, Texas; dear friend Teresa Bolden of Silsbee, Texas; as well as many other family, friends and loved ones.
A visitation for April will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023, beginning at 4:00 pm with a Celebration of life to follow beginning at 6:00 pm at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Mitchell Murphy, and Denton Maze.

From spending the night with each other, church, trying to guess the amount of change in your grandfather's jug, and matching homemade cat costumes for Halloween.
