Dorothy Llewellyn McWhorter was born on October 9, 1929, in Janesville, Wisconsin, to Jestin Ollie and Olive Llewellyn (Smith) Gallup. She passed away on September 21, 2022, at home in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 92.

She is survived by her younger sister, Junie and husband Donald; children: Mary & companion Wesley, Carol & husband Claude, Donald & wife Jeanie, Irene & husband James, Sue, Beth, Janis, Jennifer, Jeffery & wife Shelly; foster son, Richard & wife Sarah; and a host of much-loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years Jim; son, Joseph; and granddaughter, Rachel.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 am, at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

A private interment will be held at Menard Chapel Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas.
