Charles Patrick Sandlin was born in Houston, Texas on March 17, 1953, to Jesse Charles and Reba (Perkins) Sandlin. He passed from this life on April 1, 2022, at his home in Livingston, Texas at the age of 69.
He is survived by his daughters, Holly Sandlin, Misty Dowdell & husband Stephen, Sactricia Sweeney & husband James, Felicia Donahoe & husband Dalton; daughter-in-law Tommie Sandlin; grandchildren, Amber Sandlin Imada & and husband Tsunetaka, Margie Sandlin Wallace & husband Cody, Kelsey Sandlin, Bubba Sandlin, Kathlynn Dowdell, Stephen Dowdell Jr. & wife Kelsie, Rachel Martin & fiancé Will Weston, Atasha Slagel & husband Chris; sixteen grandchildren; sisters, Eva Louise Marvin & husband Bill, Sandra Mae Willens & husband John, and Cynthia Ann Moore & husband Mark.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Sandlin; son, Charles Faron Sandlin; parents, Jesse Charles, and Reba Sandlin; brothers, Seldon Bob Sandlin, Charles Donald Sandlin; and sisters, Reba Irene Rigby, and Donna Charlene Parnell.
A Celebration of Charles Patrick Sandlin's life will be held on April 8, 2022, at 11:00 at the Revival Center Church of God at 585 FM 3459, Onalaska, Texas with Pastor Matt Jones Officiating.
