Frances Mae Lewis born December 6, 1929, in Chester, Texas to Marion Thompson and Mary (Wylie) Thompson, went to be with her Lord Monday, February 21, 2022, in Woodville, Texas at the age of 92.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Lewis of Kountze, Lonzo Lewis Sr & wife Kim of Woodville, Marion Lewis & wife Diane of Warren, Glenn Lewis & wife Sharon of Kountze; daughter, Earline Waldrep & husband Steve of Woodville; Twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-four great grandchildren, twenty-nine great great grandchildren; as well as many loved ones and a host of friends.
Frances was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Colmesneil. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary Woodville, Texas. Frances also enjoyed gardening and quilting.
She is preceded by her parents; sisters, Ethel Sawyer, Lacinth Wells; brothers, Charlie Thompson, Luther Thompson, Elton Thompson Clifton Thompson; granddaughter, Mary Danielle Mahaffey; great granddaughters, Anna Beth Lewis, Kain Lewis, Sunny Maddox.
Visitation for Mrs. Lewis will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Mrs. Lewis' home at 5383 CR 4260, Woodville, Texas.
A Celebration of Frances' Life will begin at 2pm Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the First Assembly of God Church in Colmesneil with Brother Kirbbie Cowart Officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Chester, Texas with Brother Steve Waldrep officiating.
