He is proceeded in death by his parents, Lucy and James Wiggins, sisters, Virgie Simmons and Frances Roth, and brothers, Marvin and J.C. Wiggins.

He is survived by his two daughters. Milli and Misti. Grandchildren, Morgan and her husband Corey Robins, Rhett Fregia, Julia Farra, Bianca, and Brian Gutierrez. And great grandchildren, Cameron and Grayson Robins, Sage, Raina, Quinlan Farra. And several nieces and nephews.

J.W. was a neighbor and a good friend, always ready to help anyone in need. He, along with his Father and brothers, were my Daddy’s hunting partners after my parents moved to Segno in the 40’s. Daddy enjoyed their shared camaraderie and especially the tales with which the Wiggins men, especially J.W., entertained him.

J.W. was the last of a family who has commanded a long history within the
Big Thicket. May he find rest and peace now that his journey here on earth has ended. God’s blessing of comfort for his family is my prayer.
