He is survived by his two daughters, Penny Churchman and husband Albert, Donna Slot and husband Jimmy; one sister, Helen Jacobson; three grandchildren and several great grand childeren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife; Katie Shafer, parents; Claude and Ruth Shafer, and brothers Allen and Harold Shafer.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Schwab City Baptist Church of Livingston. His Hobbies included hunting and fishing. Robert and his wife Katie put on karaoke shows in the Livingston area for many years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 24, 2021, 5-8
at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday 25, 2021.
at 10:00 A.M followed by a graveside at 1:00 P.M
at Sterling White Cemetery11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, in Highlands, Tx
