Howard Jones Carson was born on May 19, 1947, in Livingston, Texas, to Arthur Carson and Gretta Sylestine. He passed from this life on February 26, 2024, in Livingston, Texas at the age of 76.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Maher & husband Sean; sisters, Mary Fleming, and Jeanette Williamson; grandchildren, Trevor Dunn & wife Stormy, Brooke Wilson & husband Alex, and Brandon Hogan; great grandchildren, Jase, Aubriegh, Elaine, and Benjamin.
Howard is preceded in death by his father, Authur Carson; mother, Gretta Sylestine Carson Ricks; brothers, James Carson, and Ezra Carson Sr; and sister, Daisy John.

A Wake service for Howard will be held from 5:00p- 8:00p, on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston.

A Celebration of Howard's life will be held at 10:00a, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas with Elder Debra Battise- Kleiman, CRE officiating.

Interment is to follow at the Alabama- Coushatta Indian Reservation, Indian Village Cemetery.
