Samuel Jessie McClelland Jr. was born May 19, 1949, in Baytown, Texas to Samuel Jessie McClelland Sr. and Vivian Miller McClelland, in Baytown, Texas. He passed from this life on April 7, 2022, in Goodrich, Texas at the age of 72.
Samuel was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam.
He is Survived by his son, Sammy McClelland & wife Lisa; Daughter Stephanie Moreno & husband Mario; grandchildren, Jacob McClelland, Abriana McClelland, Meagan McClelland, Michael Moreno, Natalie Moreno, Kaitlyn Defilippis & husband Anthony, Wesley Mattox, and Jason Mattox; great- granddaughter, Danielle Defilippis; as well as other family and loved ones.
Samuel is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mirchell McClelland; parents Samuel and Vivian McClelland; brother, Gordon McClelland; and sister Martha Shafer.

A Gathering will be held Friday, April 22, 2022, from 12p 2p at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
